Birmingham Restoration I really like the show American Restoration. What does the group think about taking a beat up or non-working item and fully restoring it? I'm not sure I have the workmanship / attention to detail to do something like that myself and I need to acquire those skillz. I've got an old Tektronics type 503 oscilloscope that was given to me. Doesn't turn on and isn't in really bad shape - would be a great first restoration project (totally disassemble, clean, paint, reassemble. It's a useful item for the shop and taking on a few restoration projects from outside might help pay the bills if we're good at it. dhw

David, I love that idea. Plus, we could use the o-scope once operational. +1 this one
