Would anyone be interested in adding projects meetups led and hosted by individuals in the group? The idea being that members could host ongoing or one time project meetups outside of the scheduled project meetups. Members could set up their own project meetups on the meetup (I or one of the other organizers would make sure it was announced) page and that way we could have more possible chances for people to join in on projects that may fit their personal interests. The only caveat would be that they would need to be scheduled on dates that do not interfere with the regularly scheduled meetups.
In this way, for instance, Houston could have people over to help with his welding cart over multiple days, or Heath would be able to have people over to help build the Rap Rap on a date when he is more available.
I don't feel like this would reduce attendance at the regularly scheduled meetups and it might open up more time for members to participate. Obviously when we have a space this will become the norm, but I feel we need to go ahead and start moving toward this model to increase inclusivity.
